How long does it take to make my order?

Jewelry: Expect about a 1 week turnaround for all custom orders.

Lifestyle items: It can take up to 2-3 weeks to ship the order but this can vary.

Pre-orders: It can be up to 4 weeks before I ship out the item. If a pre-order specifies a certain date (ex: Mother's Day), it means that the order will be sent out in time for that event. However, shipping delays out of our control may affect this. We cannot guarantee arrival on said date. 

How are your pendants made?

All my products are handmade by me. I use a stamping tool to engrave each piece by hand. 

What is gold filled exactly?

The gold filled jewelry is composed of a solid layer of 14k gold mechanically bonded to a base of either brass or sterling silver. Gold filled has 100% more gold than gold plating and is much more valuable and tarnish resistant. 

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

Unfortunately, I cannot refund/return an item as they are custom and made to order. If there is a defect or noticeable damage with the product, we can exchange it for a new piece with the same design. However, given the nature of the stamping process, slight markings can appear on the disc. Quality is checked before sending out all orders but if you notice something isn't right, you must let me know within 72 hours of receiving the piece to be eligible for an exchange. 

Will my pendant/chain tarnish? 

Sterling silver, gold filled and rose gold jewelry are not susceptible to tarnish in a pure oxygen environment. However, the copper that is contained in .925 sterling silver and the brass in 14k gold filled may react to the ozone and hydrogen sulfide in the air and cause it to tarnish. Be sure to keep your pieces in a cool, dark place.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Yes. All my orders are sent to you in a box that is wrapped with a bow (satin or twine depending on availability). However, if you select Letter Parcel at checkout for shipping, a box will not be included.

My shipment is late - what can I do?

Our shipping is established through Canada Post exclusively. When your order is fulfilled, a shipping label will be generated. That label will create a tracking number which will be sent to you automatically. Each available shipping option will give you a general window of time for your shipment to be delivered but delays are very possible. We cannot expedite the shipping process once it leaves our doors. Canada Post will be able to help you track your order until delivery.

How does local pick up work?

If you are located/able to pick up in Ottawa/Orleans, you can select local pick up at checkout. You'll receive a "shipment" email when your order is ready. In that automated email, you will see the instructions for picking up your order as well as the address.

How much do you donate per order?

I am donating $1 from every product sold to the Perinatal Mental Health at The Ottawa Hospital. 

For all CPMHC orders, 30% of proceeds are donated directly to CPMHC.

My bracelet broke - what can we do?

Jewelry is always at risk of breaking. Our bodies are on the move and any unforgiving tug or pull can suddenly break a special piece. The nature of elastic string is that it is durable but to a certain extent. Always roll your bracelet on, do not stretch it. If you need to stretch it to the point of seeing over 1inch of the string, you should size up.

With all this in mind, I offer a 50% discount on a bracelet repurchase if you can return the beads that have fallen off. It's impossible to keep count of how many beads are on each unique bracelet so don't sweat it if you think the vacuum claimed one or two lost beads. If you can return the majority to me, I can apply 50% off the invoice to replace it. Simply send me a message and we can arrange from there.
